Directed by Jasper Deeter, the cast starred Julius Bledsoe as Abraham McCranie, L. Rufus Hill (Colonel McCranie), H. Ben Smith (Lonnie McCranie), Rose McClendon (Goldie McAllister), Abbie Mitchell (Muh Mack), and R. J.
